Living on a Narrowboat
Thousands of seagulls flock overhead, of sealions bob up and down by the hundred and the fishermen pull some of the different varieties of fish out of the sea.
The smell is overpowering.
The guide recconed there was 2,000 years worth of Guarana, (seagull poo) on the rock faces.
Paracas nature reserve and island are the poor uninterested man’s answer to a full on trip to the Galapagos islands.
It is a UNESCO protected ecosystem.
Afford the more expensive trip in the speedboat.
The bigger the boat the cheaper it works out, the slower it moves.
Bear this in mind, if weather is bad and you are not a good sailor this is not a journey you will enjoy.
Have been to the nature reserve @ Paracas.
This is the main reason to visit Pisco five miles up the road.
Stayed in the Belle hotel last night off the main square. Got the price down to 70 which is $20 or about 12 quid.
Room had t.v. some English channels.
Got pissed last night in restaurant, had fish meal. There are lots of fish round here.

Things to look out for in Lima:
Buses, taxis, cars they drive worse than the Spanish.
