Obesity is just a growing thing in the UK. It’s not a new thing. What’s new is that the industry is seen as safe and not regulated.

Since regulation of tobacco, and the rise of the supermarkets, consumers have had sugar rammed down throats. Literally.

Taking a ride from Marble Arch to Oxford Circus, the film gets started around 1 minute through when the cabby gets out and starts questioning the guy.

I can’t work out what nationality he is.

Keeps referring to the ‘price list on the back’, he asks Police to help – as he only received £103 for his 10 minute journey.

Has to be seen to be believed.

Interesting little tit-bit from the NASA Kepler Mission which has the job of looking for the next best place to live for the good-old human race.

Hottest June in history – June 2015

While the weather is cold and windy in blighty. Other places on the planet are experiencing record, or near record temperatures.

This may be record high, record low – record precipitation, record levels of ice build up or ice melting.

Makes for interesting reading.

Temperatures across the globe last month were higher than any previous June since record-keeping began in 1880. Three meteorological agencies have concluded that June 2015 was the warmest June ever recorded, and that 2015 is on track to have the hottest average surface temperatures in history.

The earth’s average global surface temperature in June 2015 was 0.88 degrees Celsius higher than the 20th century average. That compares to June 2014, which was 0.6 degrees Celsius higher than the century’s average.
