The world’s most travelled man

Having done a fair bit of travel myself, I was interested today to find that the world most travelled man has visited 196 countries.

However, this does not include ‘enclaves’, ‘territories’ and ‘autonomous regions’ which bump the visitable list up to over 800.

Anyhow, here’s the story.

Donald Parrish is officially the world’s most-travelled person, having visited almost every destination on Earth. He is pictured here with Miss France 2006 Alexandra Rosenfeld, at the Meridien Hotel in the Congo

  • Retired technician Donald Parrish Jr, 70, has visited 840 destinations
  • He finished visiting each of the world’s 196 countries three years ago
  • Mr Parrish’s first overseas trip was to Mexico in 1957 at the age of 13
  • He could become the first person to visit each of the world’s 875 countries, territories, autonomous regions, enclaves, geographically separated island groups, and major states and provinces

VOD: Crazy-ness of the Human spirit

What drives people to do crazy shit?

Who knows.

What drives people to do crazy shit whilst people sit around and do nothing? Or not get involved at all?

These two examples seem fairly relaxed. People go along with being; kicked punched, verbally and physically assaulted and do nothing, or if anything like the last video, actually join in.

Crazy guy on a train.

Letting loose on the China commuters….

Shakes a guys hand, who he proceeds to call his ‘friend’. He says the other people are ‘not good’ whilst calling them pigs and worms in English.

He’s pretty crazy.

I’m not sure what happened over the last 10 days. The statistics attacks on my wp-admin file, (accessed through the wp-login), speak for themselves.

Scientists identify brain hormones responsible for hunger

This week, Tesco banned Ribena and Capri-Sun drinks from it’s shelves.

Obesity is just a growing thing in the UK. It’s not a new thing. What’s new is that the industry is seen as safe and not regulated.

Since regulation of tobacco, and the rise of the supermarkets, consumers have had sugar rammed down throats. Literally.
