I tried to move, but couldn’t. Ended up back where I was. The CRT sent me an overstay notice. I moved back. Down into MK. Again.
First I went. Then I came back.

I don’t really like to do that, but currently, whilst I’m in the dole, I have to attend to collect my money. That’s a fortnightly signing, and whilst I’m still doing it, I don’t want to move beyond the general vicinity. So that means staying around MK.
Further up is all well and nice, but you’re out in the countryside.
I’m back here

It’s where a was for Christmas. Not a bad spot.
I’ve got a couple more weeks, during which time I may find something employment wise. To keep me busy.
Coventry
Visited the other day. Abortively studied Business Studies at the university here, many years ago. I didn’t think too much about the city. Was more concerned about the course. That was a bad idea. Coventry is a little run down, and although I did ok while I was there, it wasn’t something I could continue with.

Cut the shrubs
It’s the season and many council navvies have descended to do battle with the overgrown shrubbery bordering the walkways of Milton Keynes.

Some logs and branches are amongst the cut-offs the workers left hanging around and the boaters have descended with their chainsaws and axes!
This is proper exciting for ‘true boaters’ of which I’m sorry to say, I’m not one. Had it been the height of the season, I would have grabbed a bit. It’s not. Things are getting warmer now. The problem with wet wood is you need a very hot fire for it. Fine in the depths of winter. Otherwise, not worth bothering with. That’s my view anyhow.
Things are warming up a bit.

Finally
On this short blog post, I’ve taken a mystery picture… See if you can guess where it’s from.
Family get-together
Travelled to Littlehampton, on the sea. Met up with some relatives. Had a few drinks. Wasn’t too bad. Weather was a bit inclement.

The sun shone a tiny bit before I left.
