Chinese Watermelon Kids
As you may know, things have turned rather hot here in China…
What better way to cool your kids down than smashing them over the head with a watermelon?

Teacher Juicy drinks chicken foot
Here is a picture of my Chinese co-teachers tasty brew.
Some might call it a ‘foul infusion’.
The chinese are quite keen with the feet, heads, beaks and bones.
Less so with the brains, guts and balls.
I think they’d rather suck than chew.
Maybe, walking around with a chicken foot hanging from the mouth gives the impression of opulence.
I’ll ask Juicy…

Kunshan Forest Park
And ecological center.
Did an English corner on it yesterday. There are many species of dolphin swimming in the water, (apparentely), you can buy icecream and there are also Chinese here.
There’s only one entrance to the park, as I discovered when I cycled around trying to get out.

Open Office 4.0 is BLOAT
YUP.
Not using this version…
Put it on over the weekend, when there was nobody around to use the internet connection. It’s total bloat.
Left 300+ entries in the startup directory after I’d got rid of it.
God knows how many there were when it was fully installed.
upshot
Increasing startup times by over 200%, the new 4.0 version of Open Office is nothing to get excited about. Quite the opposite, reach for your slippers and put the kettle on whilst you wait for the ‘puter to boot up.
Avoid.
