Transfer apk apps between two Android devices

So..

I’ve got this new AT200 tablet, and if you’ve read my previous installment, you’ll know it’s virtually useless.

Thankfully, using my brain and modern technology, I’ve overcome the hurdles set-up for me by the large multi-nationals that won’t let me install whatever software I like on my machine.

Installing Play Store apps on the AT200

This little guide is to help the owners of the defunct AT200, which is virtually a dead dog if you don’t have the right software installed, put more and better apps on their machine.

I did this using a phone. Cracked Samsung GT-7566. Relatively cheap Chinese model. Set-it-up to receive apps from Google Play Store. Continue reading “Transfer .apk (andriod) apps between devices (any device)”

Chinese Cyclist vs Innocent Laowai (me)

Violent Chinese
Un-pleasant goat

I have a little story.

Today. Mid-day, walking back from Morning shift at work:

Busy pavement in the center Kunshan, man approaches me on his pushbike.

It’s usual to get bikes on the pavement in China, this guy was right in the middle of the pavement, not at the side, like you should be.

The stress levels involved in getting them to do things seems high. Continue reading “Taicang 3 & 3 Christmas Performance”

First visit to Chinese Hospital.

Yesterday after work, I started experiencing severe pain in my lower abdomen. Whilst driving home, my arms started to tingle and I wanted to vomit.

Took this as a sign that I was feeling crook, and it would be better to take the rest of the day off.

Bad oil

Initially, though it might be bad cooking oil. The Chinese have a habit of fishing cooking oil out of the drains and re-using it to cook street-food.

Also, there was a flu bug I had. Wasn’t really sure what it was. Anyhow. Went to the hospital with workmate Dan.

Hospital

2 day wait to find out about stomach. Skipped that and got on my bike and went to another hospital, got an ultrasound 80 yuan. Then the gave me some drips, another 80 yuan and finally some pills 40 yuan.

It was actually an eye hospital, but they put me in there anyway. Girls were quite friendly.

They put three drips in over the course of 2 hours. Afterward I felt ok. Continue reading “First visit to Chinese Hospital.”
