A number of pre-2006 policies still exist on employees, unknown to them.

These policies pay on the death of an employee, or a former employee.

And when the “peasant” dies, the company receives a tax-free windfall.

Often the deceased has long left the workplace — moving to a different job, or retiring. Many a clerk, janitor or other line employee would likely be surprised to learn that his present or former employer will receive $100,000, $200,000 or more when he dies. – The Bakersfield Californian

China’s gold bullion reserve rival US’s

China is strengthening it’s bullion reserves to present its currency as an alternative to the US dollar.

Considering the debt ratio’s and relative leveraging of the currency, this is something that must have the Americans worried.

rp_IMGP1030-756373.JPGThe title is of course a little misleading because China has many options, none of which except one in my opinion will actually work.  Options to what exactly you ask?  Options to a collapsing global economy and an imploding financial system which will surely affect China as much as anywhere else, but with one caveat.  I take these events as a given, others do not but betting against an outright panic and global bankruptcy is betting against pure mathematics itself. The feathers of Ma at were said to measure a persons worth, the value of their heart.

Since the early days of the Egyptian civilization, they used to measure the good deeds you had done in feathers, to bestow easy passage to the afterlife.

These feathers were used to balance against the other deeds in your life. The more the feathers weighed, the more value you had as a ‘person’.

It was called the Feathers of Ma’at, they were used to measure all peoples worth.

Nowadays, we have money.

Why are some of the world most renowned scientists turning against science?

Simply because it’s no longer science anymore.

It’s become s mouthpiece of the establishment.

An establishment which seeks to deceive and corrupt, not just for financial gain, but because it’s in their very nature…

Climate change and the New World Order

The science of climate change is a science of consensus, and such, I’ve always been skeptical about the powers of consensus to reach a scientific conclusion.

It’s true that the political ideals, behind the climate change model where always far superior: hijacking something in the name of ‘good’ and to ‘save the planet’.

Place your bets – The AIIB, the stock market and China’s Geo-politcal future

Chinese GamblingGiven the Chinese penchant for gambling, (it’s illegal apart from in Macau), punting one’s investments into the only free gambling machine on the mainland seems like the natural thing to do.

China has its own new gambling machine. It’s called the stock market.

For the past twelve months, the Shanghai Composite has risen by 100%, and from 3,000 to 4,000 points since February, mostly brought on by domestic demand.

China’s New investors

China Tech StocksBloomberg Business – “Gan’s survey, which was conducted at the end of 2014 and covers some 4,000 households across the country, finds that the biggest new investors in China’s equity markets have below a high school education and relatively low levels of asset ownership.”

Small and medium size investors are getting into shares for the first time. And these new investors are not high flying whizz kids from the city, more likely, according to this research non-savvy, non-educated aunts and uncles jumping on for a free ride to high returns.
